READY TO PLAY is the first book in the interconnected series. It’s an emotional contemporary sports romance about an NFL tight end who has a lot playing left to do (on and off the field) and a shy physical therapist/athletic trainer with body image issues.

READY TO RISK is an angsty second chance romance featuring Stevie Hutchinson and her former high school boyfriend. Ten years after their heart-wrenching breakup, sparks still fly but so do bullets. While it can be read as a standalone, it is best experienced after reading Ready To Live.

Hello, there! I’m Shefali. I love to read and write heartfelt emotional romances with a lot of heat and a guaranteed happily-ever-after. My love affair with romance novels began when I picked up my first gothic romance at age 11. By high school, I had moved on to Harlequins and multiple monthly book subscriptions, devouring them within days.
I grew up mostly in New England and didn’t start learning my Indian culture until I moved to New Jersey as an adult…and I’m still learning because it’s so diverse! I say that up-front in case you are expecting mostly Desi characters. I’m sorry to say they are not, except for Joey in Ready to Play, who is half-Indian, though I do have plans for a novella in the future where she reconnects with her cultural roots.
